The IAU catalogue's account
Applied in recent times from the Arabic constellation name al-salbaq, "the Harp," for Lyra. salbaq was a Greek loanword in Arabia, and was one of three names of musical instruments used by the Arabics for Lyra. Still other names were alsulalfat, and al-lura.
