Gemini depicts not two gods, but two inseparable images of the one Christ: the suffering Lamb and the victorious King. The One who was wounded for the salvation of mankind returns as Ruler and Judge.

Gemini is an ancient zodiacal constellation. In Mesopotamia it was called MUL.MAŠ.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL — 'The Great Twins'. The image of two joined figures existed long before the Greek Castor and Pollux.[Hunger & Pingree · MUL.APIN][Rogers · Origins][Вавилонские звёздные каталоги][Stellarium · MUL.APIN][Kunitzsch & Smart][IAU · имена звёзд]
In the heavenly narrative, they show two sides of Christ's ministry. He came as Man, accepted suffering and death, but rose and received authority to judge and reign. In Revelation, John hears of the conquering Lion, but looking, he sees a Lamb standing as if slain. This is not a dual nature of God, but the unity of humiliation and glory in one Savior.
The star names support the main line of the constellation:
Castor and Pollux — the modern Greek names of the two main stars. Alhena — the star at the foot of one of the Twins; the traditional interpretation 'wound' appears in Bullinger but is historically unproven. Wasat means 'middle'. Mebsuta is associated with the image of an outstretched paw or hand. Propus — a Greek name meaning 'forefoot'.[Kunitzsch & Smart][IAU · имена звёзд]
The meanings 'appointed', 'palm branch', 'who will come to suffer', and 'trampling under foot' cannot be confidently presented as established translations of the star names. They are permissible only as Bullinger's traditional interpretation, not as proven ancient etymology.[Kunitzsch & Smart][IAU · имена звёзд]
The overall meaning remains clear: the suffering Christ becomes the glorified King. Now the Gospel proclaims salvation through the slain Lamb; then all will see Him as Ruler and Judge.[Kunitzsch & Smart][IAU · имена звёзд]
