Gemini is an ancient zodiacal constellation. In Mesopotamia it was called MUL.MAŠ.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL — 'The Great Twins'. In the heavenly narrative, they show two sides of Christ's ministry. He came as Man, accepted suffering and death, but rose and received authority to judge and reign. In Revelation, John hears of the conquering Lion, but looking, he sees a Lamb standing as if slain. This is not a dual nature of God, but the unity of humiliation and glory in one Savior.
